Marina Portrait

I've met Marina 4 times now (i'm not really counting :). First on the street by my apartment, she was on her way to an appointment, she assists stylists. I didn't have my camera but i had stop to ask for her details and tell her how much i loved her worn out cowboy hat and corduroy trousers.  She was really one of the coolest, freshest girls i'd seen in NY in ages. I was crushing. Anyway, next at United Bamboo, Mr. Tommy tells me there's a girl over there i'm gonna love and points her out - ahhhh Marina, yes i do love her, yes she looks as cool and nonchalant as on our first meeting - i take her picture, i later realise i've f'ed it up, white shirt - totally over-exposed - damn it. Then last week, or the week before i don't remember - i see her in Paris just hanging on the steps chatting outside Bernhard Willhelm - finally a picture i can share. And if i wasn't smitten enough i learn late on a Sunday night that we both love to dance and spend evenings wearing only Black and White, she tells me she loves my dress and it looks so Chanel, um, of course it's not - but it's a compliment i'm taking cos i really think Marina has something special going on. She's just so effortless, so easy going and so very cool.
